Ford’s (F) $28,350 Electric Pickup Bet Meets A Cheap Stock

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is betting big on getting small. On August 6, the company confirmed pricing for the Fathom, a new electric pickup smaller than a full-size F-150 but roomy enough for a family of five, at $28,350. Bull Case: A Small Truck Carrying A Big Platform

Ford has pulled off cheap and popular before. The Ford Maverick, a small gas-and-hybrid pickup launched in 2021 (for the 2022 model year), starts at $28,145, just $200 below the Fathom, and sold about 155,000 units last year while selling out its production run for multiple years running.
